Nellie Goins Obituary

Nellie Lee Fore Goins, age 94, of Sanford, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Westfield Rehabilitation & Health Center.

She was born in Lee County on July 5, 1924 to the late Emory Fore and Lou Etta Coble Fore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Kirk; great-grandson, Larry Wayne Warren; two sisters and four brothers. Nellie worked for many years at Singer Furniture Company.

Nellie is survived by her grandchildren, Tammy Kirk Warren and husband, Danny of Sanford, Darrell Kirk of Sanford and Connie Kirk Hardesty and husband, Tim of Sarasota, Florida; brother, Roy Wayne Fore and wife, Christine of Church Hill, Tennessee; son-in-law, James Kirk; six great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.
