Naomi Grace (Tyndall) Kaiding

Naomi Grace Tyndall Kaiding, age 75, of Sanford, NC, died peacefully Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Parkview Retirement Center in Sanford.

Grace was born in Myrtle Beach, SC July 20, 1943.  She was the daughter of Otto Tyndall and Rose McDowell Tyndall.  She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Pamela Starr Kaiding, a sister Dellmarze T. Hobbs and a brother Clarence Earl Tyndall.

She is survived by her husband Neil K. Kaiding; daughter Cindy K. Gay (Joe Gay); grandchildren Kaitie Gay, Cassie Gay and Carson Gay; sisters Pat T. White (Murray) and Debbie T. Wrench (Ronnie). She loved and was loved by many nieces and nephews.

She was employed Abbot Laboratories in Rocky Mount and Phizer/Coty for 26 years in Sanford, NC, retiring in 2001 as a Quality Assurance Auditor.

She was a member of Jonesboro United Methodist Church in Sanford and a member of her beloved Order of Eastern Star and was honored with a Lifetime Membership Award on October 8, 2009 at Jonesboro Heights Chapter No. 310.  She held many offices in her Chapter, District and NC Grand Chapter.

Most of all, she loved her Lord, her family, friends and cooking for them.  She loved volunteering at Christians United Outreach Center (CUOC) and she loved all of God’s wonders of nature and many pets through her years.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Jonesboro United Methodist Church with Rev. Andi Woodhouse officiating.  The family will receive friends in the church parlor (in front of the church sanctuary) 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, immediately before the service.
