Nancy (Westmoreland) Smith

Nancy Westmoreland Smith, age 73, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.

 She was born in Lee County on September 8, 1948, to the late Jackson Gray Westmoreland and Florence Watkins Marin.  Nancy was a devoted mother and homemaker.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Johnny; son, John Smith, II and wife, Lynda of Sanford and daughter, Michelle Haigler and fiancé, Tadd Gladden of Sanford; four grandchildren, Zach Smith, Makayla Smith, Kenzie Smith and Aumi Haigler and four great-grandchildren, Finley Smith, Bristol Smith, Oliver Davis and Knoxx Edwards.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Yow and Rev. Eugene Staton officiating.  Entombment will follow in Lee Memory Gardens.
