Nancy Sue (Myers) Holder

Nancy Sue Myers Holder, age 69, of Sanford, NC, died Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Central Carolina Hospital.

She was born in Chatham County, NC on May 14, 1948 to the late Nathan William Myers Sr. and Allie Lee Hart Myers.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bennie Lawrence Holder Sr.; step-children Beverly Godfrey, Lawrence Holder, Robert Holder; brothers and sisters Nathan William Myers Jr “Sonny”, John Wayne Myers, Earl Myers, Doris Ellis and Ann Josey.  Nancy worked for Walmart as a department manager and was a UNC Tarheel fan.  In addition to her love for eagles, she enjoyed making crafts, playing on the computer, reading and especially her family.

She is survived by children J. Franklin Holder and wife Consuela of Sanford, Barbara S. Holder and fiancé Randy of Lemon Springs, William Holder and wife Stefanie of Aiken, SC; step-children Don Lee Holder and wife Mary Hellon of Julian, Nancy Ann Holder of Mamers, Linnie Arch Holder and wife Debbie of Shelby, Wade Holder and wife Shirley of Siler City and Gaylon Holder and wife Connie of Williston, SC; brothers and sisters Kenneth Myers and wife Sherry of Sanford, Betty Manness and husband Marvin of Siler City, Helen Tharp of Siler City; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Barbara Holder.  A memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home with Mr. Henry Grant officiating.  Burial of cremains will follow at a later date.
