Martha Underwood Cameron 81, of Cameron, passed away at FirstHealth of Moore Regional on Saturday, December 30, 2017.

She was born in Pelzer, SC, on Sept. 2, 1936, to the late Henry Underwood and Macy Bagwell Underwood.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Cameron; a daughter, Phyllis Cameron Wicker; brothers, Boyce and Wallace Underwood.  Mrs. Cameron worked as a beautician for several years.

Martha is survived by her sons, Michael Wayne Cameron and wife Lesa of Clemmons and James R. “Joe” Cameron of Cameron; two grandchildren, Brennan and Sidney Cameron.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, 11AM at Cypress Presbyterian Church with Rev. Barbara Herdin and Rev. Bebe Briggs presiding.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The visitation will be held following the services in the church fellowship hall.
