Margaret Agnes (McDonald) Davis

Ms. Margaret Agnes McDonald Davis, 90, of Sanford, N.C., died at home, with the support of Community Home Care and Hospice, on Friday, October 12, 2018. 

Ms. Davis was born in Lee County, N.C. on May 19, 1928, to the late Penny Mae Cox and L.C. McDonald.  She is preceded in death by her husband Clayboun Ray Davis and her daughter Linda Davis LaVerdure.

She is survived by her son Donald Ray Davis and wife Sallie of Sanford.  Grandchildren Ricky Sullivan and Kate Sullivan of Georgia, Marcus Sullivan and wife Terri of Hickory, N.C,  Jessica Davis of Sanford, N.C., Jason Davis of Aberdeen N.C., Laura Wright and husband Shawn of Sanford, N.C., and Lisa Reynolds and husband Zack of Raleigh, N.C.; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 17, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 4:45 pm at Olivia Presbyterian Church. The funeral will be held at 5:00 pm followed by the burial in the church cemetery.  A reception will be held after all services are completed.  All visitors are encouraged to gather in the fellowship hall to visit with the family. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of the following organizations:  The American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association.
