Lynn Parker

Lynn Parker, age 61, of Broadway, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Harnett County on June 12, 1957 to Virginia Smith Upchurch.  He was preceded in death by his step-father who raised him as his own, Burton Upchurch.  Lynn was a simple man who adored his children and was an amazing PaPa to his precious grandchildren.  He was a devoted employee for 29 years at J.E. Womble & Sons in Lillington.  He was a friend to all he met.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia; son, Uriah Parker and wife, Ashley of Erwin; daughter, Torrie Bell and husband, Josh of Holly Springs;  precious grandchildren, Summer Bell, Sara Graves, Liberty Bell, J.J. Bell, Isaiah Parker and Elijah Parker.

A memorial service to celebrate Lynn’s life will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 6:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.
