Louis Ray Calcutt

Louis Ray Calcutt, age 72, of Sanford, NC, died Thursday, November 1, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Lee County, NC on April 3, 1946 to the late Tom Watson Calcutt and Leola Parrish Calcutt.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Wayne and Roy Calcutt, sister Nellie Calcutt and an infant sister.  Louis graduated from Greenwood High School was retired from the NC Department of Transportation.

He is survived by a sister-in-law Brenda Calcutt of Sanford; nieces and nephews Jeff Calcutt and wife Teri of Sanford, Jennifer Donaldson of Sanford, Matthew Calcutt of New Bern, Kevin Calcutt of Sanford and Heather Calcutt of the NC mountains.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church cemetery with Rev. Robert Thomas officiating.  The family will receive friends following the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the cemetery fund at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 5422 St. Andrews Church Road, Sanford, NC 27332.
