Lillian Louise Bullock White, age 95, of Sanford, NC, died Monday, September 25, 2017 at Central Carolina Hospital.

She was born in Wake County, NC on February 20, 1922 to the late Charlie Bullock and Lillie Belle White Bullock.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Joseph White; a son, Jesse Joseph White, Jr.; a daughter, Cynthia White Buchanan; great-grandson, Matthew Scott Bunnell.  Lillian and her late husband were the former owners and operators of White’s One Hour and Jonesboro Dry Cleaners.  She was a member of Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church and a member of Jonesboro Heights Eastern Star.

Lillian is survived by her sister, Edna Earle Cole of Southern Pines; a son-in-law, Richard Scott Buchanan, Sr. of Sanford; half-sister, Mary Hawley Oates of Sanford; three grandchildren, Richard Scott Buchanan, Jr. and his wife, Angella, Cindy Buchanan Cole and husband, Rodney and Jeffrey Joseph Buchanan and wife, Angie; three great-grandchildren, Amanda Bunnell, Alex Buchanan and Erin Buchanan; two great-great-grandchildren, Kaden and Mattie Brame.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 29, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Jonesboro Cemetery with Rev. Gilbert McDowell.
