Lillian Ann (Meridith) Harris

Lillian Ann Meridith Harris, age 70, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Cumberland County on March 23, 1949 to the late James Clifford Meridith, Sr. and Annie Belle Morton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Erika Jacobs Joines; two brothers and one sister.  Lillian was a kind person with a tender soul.  She loved the Lord and her family with her whole heart.  Lilly brought joy to everyone she met and strongly believed in life, love and laughter.

Lillian is survived by her husband of 32 years, Andrew Harris, Jr.; son, Samuel Harris and wife, Genesis of Clayton; daughters, Helena Gaster of Aberdeen; Charlotte Ervin of Cameron; step-children, James, Laura, Frances, Ginger and Shawn; one sister, Alice Tilton of South Carolina; 36 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.
