I'm so sorry to hear about Doug. I will always remember him as being a strong, quiet man with a big heart. Prayers go out to his family and loved ones.

2 Corinthians 1:3,4 gives us the assurance that "the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies" is "the God of all comfort" and he "comforts us in all our trials". Dear Family, Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your loved one. During this most difficult time of mourning and grieving your loss may you be comforted beyond measure as you read God's Word the Bible. The time will soon come when death will be no more. (Isaiah 25:8) By means of a resurrection to life many who have died will live again. (Acts 9:36-41) May you have the utmost confidence in all that God promises.
