Lawrence "Larry" Haddock Obituary

Lawrence Gainey “Larry” Haddock, age 85, of Sanford, NC passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Haddock was born in Harnett County, on Feb. 2, 1933, to the late Henry Haddock and Mittie McLean Haddock.  He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Page Haddock and a brother, Henry Lee Haddock.  Mr. Haddock was a truck driver and served his country in the US Army.

Surviving relatives include his son, Mike Graham and wife Lynn of Boone; a daughter, Cindy Holder of Olivia; a sister-in-law, Leola Haddock of Pinehurst; sisters, Shirley Haddock of Cameron, Louise Fisher and husband Frank of Jacksonville, FL, Mickie Rebello and husband Tony of Carolina Lakes, and Sadie Scararnella and husband Ray of CA;  five nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Jason Holder and Holly, Candace Hodgin and Billy, Page Graham-Ramsey and Matt; Wit Graham; great grandchildren, Olivia Holder, Duncan Hodgin, Bella Holder, and Elliott B. Ramsey.

The family will receive friends Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, from 4:30 to funeral hour at Olivia Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bob Johnson and Rev. George Walton presiding.  The funeral will be held at 6PM at Olivia Presbyterian Church with the burial in Cameron Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
