Johnsie Mae Hill Peele, age 77, of Sanford NC, died Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Magnolia Gardens in Southern Pines, NC.

She was born in Moore County, NC on August 5, 1940 to the late Odell Hill and Flora Sanders Hill.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Vance Peele and a brother Edward “Eddie” Manuel Hill. 

She is survived by one son Mason Peele of Asheville; sister-in-law Mary Hill of Sanford and two nieces.

A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Red Branch Baptist Church cemetery.
