Johnny Franklin Baker, age 61, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Hamlet House.
He was born in Lee County on August 22, 1958 to the late John Frank Baker and Irene Pettus Baker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Timmy Baker and sister Cathy Cassidy. Johnny worked in home construction until a decline in his health. While he was a resident of Hamlet House, he enjoyed watching television and visiting with other residents.
He is survived by his sisters, Diane Maples of Sanford, Teresa Taylor of Sanford and Patsy Davis of Harnett County.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Lee Memory Gardens with Rev. Robert Davis officiating.
