John "Jack" T. Major

John T “Jack” Major passed in peace at the age of 90.  Retired from Texas Instruments, a devout Catholic, he was a devoted husband of 40 years to Joann Major.  Preceded in death by his son, John H. Major.  

Loving father to Kim Barnes and husband Randall, Debbie Major, Michael Major and wife Vicki, Diane Davis and husband Frank, David Major and wife April, Maureen Major.

Proud Grandfather to John Major, Jr., Jason Major, Rand Barnes, Gage Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Marin Major, Michael Major, Margaret Major, Heather Hill, Britney Diviney, Katherine Major, Christopher Major, Jessica Major.  Great-grandfather of Marley Hill, Aiden Diviney, Avery Diviney.

Brother to Mary Major, James Major, and Peggy Major, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime friends.

John T. Major Memorial Mass will be held at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Sanford, NC on January 11, 2020 at 10 a.m.

Flowers can be sent to St. Stephen’s or donations can be made to Zylofone.org, a nonprofit for the special needs community.
