Joel Lynn Jordan

Joel Lynn Jordan, age 60, of Asheboro, NC, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.

He was born in Moore County on October 01, 1957 to the late Willie Carl Jordan and Bessie Hill Jordan.  Joel was a longtime member of West Asheboro Church of God.  He worked for many years as a salesperson for PepsiCo.

Joel is survived by his wife, Rita Haire Jordan; two sons, Anthony Lynn Jordan and wife, Angela of Robbins, NC and David Joel Jordan and wife, Tori of Seagrove, NC; one daughter, Crystal Dawn Jordan of Asheboro, NC; a brother, Ira Wayne Jordan and wife, Pat of Saxapahaw, NC; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Matt Gunter officiating.  Burial will be held at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
