JoAnn (Burgess) Brickhouse

JoAnn Burgess Brickhouse, 83, of Sanford, NC passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018.

Mrs. Brickhouse was born in Randolph County, on Aug. 21, 1934, to the late William Bryan Burgess and Edith Frazier Burgess.  Her love for music showed through her many years of teaching piano and serving as the Organist for Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Brickhouse was preceded in death by her husband Norman Wesley Brickhouse.

Surviving relatives are her son Dudley Brickhouse and wife Tina of Hilton Head, SC, and her grandchildren Bryan Brickhouse of The Woodlands, TX, Jenna Brickhouse of Fort Worth, TX, and Brad Brickhouse of The Woodlands, TX.

The service will take place Monday, July 30, 2018, 11AM at Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church with Dr. Calvin Sayles presiding.  The family will receive friends (10-11AM) one hour prior to the service in the McDowell Hall.  Burial will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery.
