May you find comfort and strength in knowing that God loves you and he cares for you, through talking to God in prayer, and from reading his inspired Word, the Bible. Psalm 36:7 says: How precious your loyal love is, O God! In the shadow of your wings, the sons of men take refuge". 1 Peter 5:7 "Throw all your anxiety (cares, worries) on him, because he cares for you! Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 57:1; Psalm 55:22) jw.org

Nancy, Lauren & family,

I will certainly miss Jim. He was such a talented man and when I had a computer problem and he was here, he would always fix it for me. In times of sorrow, hope comes softly as an angel's voice. It whispers, "Though you grieve today, you will again rejoice." Though dark clouds hide the sun from view, and life is full of rain, the promised rainbow will one day bring sweet relief from pain. So may your faith and strength of spirit help you see this through, and may the love of family and friends help comfort you.

Margaret Murchison, News & Public Affairs Director...WWGP Broadcasting cORP.

Please accept my condolences, I have not met the family personally however I was very sorry to read that James fell asleep in death. When death separates family members, such great loss can result in deep sorrow. Life is so tender, so fragile, so very precious. James has no doubt left behind a thousand moments that will live in your heart forever. Remember that "God is our refuge and strength" (Psalm 46:1). Praying for you and your family during this time.

My deepest condolences for the loss of your dear loved one. While nothing will completely take away your grief by meditating on Gods promises found in the Bible you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. My family and I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

Nancy, Katie and Lara, I am so sorry to know that Jim has passed on. Although it has been a long time, since we worked together, Jim was simply the best man I worked with. His knowledge, work ethic and commitment to the success of our engineering team was exceptional. I have often thought of him over the years, and will not forget him. My deepest sympathy.

I knew Jim, as an engineer, for close to 20 years. Jim holds three distinctions that separate him from all other engineers that I know. First, he was the only engineer I ever knew whose name and number I had found on a bathroom wall, (of course the bathroom was the only place quite enough at that transmitter site, to have a phone conversation, and the bathroom wall was the phone directory). Secondly, I’ve never been in the bedroom of any other engineer, (again this was at a transmitter site). Thirdly, I respected his opinion on engineering related matters, as much, if not more so, than any engineer I know.
Only in the last 4 or 5 years had I gotten to know Jim personally. He loved his wife, daughters, parents, and extended family. He spoke to me about them often. Some target practice stories come to mind. Jim was genuinely concerned about the well-being of all those close to him. Jim gave me a coffee cup, once. The cup states that “I hope to become the great person, my dogs think I am”. Jim was already that person. I will miss him very much.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to the family. Jim will be dearly missed. It is not possible to say how much he helped and influenced me and many others while we worked together at WKFT. He taught me a lot for which I will be forever grateful. I am glad I had the chance to count him among those I call friend, and I am deeply saddened at news of his passing.
