Frances (Sellars) Davis

Frances Sellars Davis, age 76, of Sanford, NC, died Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Central Carolina Hospital.

She was born in Lee County, NC on January 17, 1942 to the late Harry Edwards Sellars and Reba Elizabeth Joye Sellars.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Faye Sellars Johnson, son-in-law J Miller and nephew Taylor Sellars.  Frances loved her Lord and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Sanford.  She was a hard-worker volunteering her time and talents including Meals on Wheels. 

Frances was the best mother to her children.  They are; Pat Miller of Blowing Rock, NC, Terri Wilkins and husband Dale of Sanford, NC and Brian Davis and wife Wesley of High Point, NC; brother Eddie Sellars and wife Brenda of Sanford; grandson Cody Wortham and wife Emilee of Sanford, NC; brother-in-law Bobby Johnson and wife Dot of Goldsboro, NC; nieces Liz Carter, Stephanie Johnson; nephew Trey Sellars; and great-nieces and nephews all of Sanford.

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Sanford with Dr. Matt Garrett officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Ladies Parlor of the church prior to the service.
