Ernest Charles Morgan Jr.

Ernest Charles Morgan Jr., age 69, of Sanford, NC, died Saturday, June 22, 2019 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC.

He was born on January 19, 1950 and raised in Red Springs, NC to the late Ernest and Elizabeth Morgan.  Mr. Morgan was a member of Northview Christian Church and worked 24 years for Trion and 12 years for Pipeline Supply.  More recently he delivered parts for Advance Auto Parts.  He was a past Master for Sanford Masonic Lodge 151.  His favorite pastimes were spending time at his family beach house and cheering on Carolina basketball.

He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife, of 44 years, Connie Morgan; daughter Jennifer Sutherland and husband Rodney of Burlington; step-grandson Mitchel Sutherland of Indiana; sister-in-law Sandra Mills; brother-in-law Thomas Rominger and wife Annette of Tomball, TX and fur babies Dyson and Shylo.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Northview Christian Church with the funeral service following at 3:00 PM with Dr. Mike Johnson officiating.
