Eloise (Cummings) Cribbs

Eloise Cummings Cribbs, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at First Health Hospice and Palliative Care in Moore County. She was born in Harnett County on May 16, 1937 to the late Sam Cummings and Vera McDonald Cummings.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis D. Cribbs; five brothers and one sister.  Eloise worked for many years at Perry Brothers.

Surviving relatives include her sons, Ronnie Cribbs and wife, Janel of Sanford and Dwight Cribbs and wife, Susan of Sanford; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Myers and Libby Cummings; three grandchildren, Erin Poe and husband, Michael, Casey and Hayley Cribbs and one great-grandchild, Trey Poe.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Turner’s Chapel Church with Rev. Bruce MacInnes officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
