Dwight Lee Parrish Sr.

Dwight Lee Parrish Sr., age 52, of Sanford, NC, died Monday, September 24, 2018 at Wake Medical Hospital in Raleigh.

He was born in Lee County, NC on July 10, 1966 to the late Wesley Bryant Parrish Sr. and Ruby Geneva Causey Parrish.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson Mason Stanley Parrish.  Dwight worked 20 plus years for Sanford Steel, Inc. as a quality control manager.  His favorite past times were woodworking, spending time with his grandchildren and visiting the mountains.

He is survived by his wife Ginger Spencer Parrish; Dwight Lee “DJ” Parrish Jr. and wife Stephanie Michelle Perry; daughter Kimberly Parrish Strickland and husband Michael; brother Wesley Parrish and wife Patti Utley Parrish; sister Debbie Parrish Allen; step-sons Morgan Wolfe, Dillon Wolfe; and grandchildren Junior Strickland, Jasmine Strickland, Kaelyn Strickland, Noah Wolfe, Bentley Wolfe and Joseph Wolfe.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Thursday, September 27th at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home with Chaplain Joel Cameron officiating.  Burial will follow at Shallow Well Church cemetery.
