Donnie Lewis Knight, age 66, of Sanford, NC, died Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at his home.

He was born in Lee County on April 15, 1951 to the late Lewis Knight and Deli Byrd Knight. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth of the home; sons, Donnie Knight, Jr. of Tennessee, Ronnie Knight of Anderson Creek, NC; daughter, Casey Upchurch of Sanford; three brothers, Charles Nordan of Richmond, VA., Larry Nordan of Lillington, NC.; Tommie Knight of Gulf, NC.; one sister, Tammy Winchester of Kingsport, TN.; six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the family home (2126 Courtland Drive, Sanford, NC) on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
