Dan Twink Wilson, age 84, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at his home.

He was born in Chase City, Virginia on November 15, 1933  to the late E. Lawrence Wilson and Donie Queen Wilson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Campbell Wilson.  Prior to his retirement, Dan worked in construction for many years.   He proudly served his country in the US Army.

Dan is survived by his daughter, Rita Wilson Rosser and husband, Rodney of Sanford; two grandchildren, Danielle Hughes, Craig Godfrey; four great-grandchildren, Christian Hughes, Kaylee Hughes, James Hughes and Helen Godfrey.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church.  The funeral service will follow at 2:30 PM with Pastor Eugene Ussery officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
