Clyde Walton Luck, age 78, of Asheville, NC, a native of the Deep River Community in Sanford, NC, died Friday, January 11, 2019 at his home in Asheville.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Flat Springs Baptist Church cemetery with Dr. Gary McCollough officiating. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the graveside service.
Walton was the son of the late John W. Luck and Lona Smith Luck. He is survived by special friend Ned Darr of Asheville; brother Tom Luck and wife Gail of Deep River; nephew Kevin Luck of Deep River, nephew Nathan Luck and wife Paige and their daughter Isabel of Cary, NC.
Walton was a graduate of Deep River High School. He attended UNC-CH for two years and was a graduate of Ringling School of the Arts in Sarasota, FL. He was co-owner of Darr-Luck Associates with showrooms in Washington, DC and Philadelphia, PA. Upon retirement Walton relocated to Peaks Island, ME and then to Asheville, NC.
