Charline Gay Meadows Labus, 83, of Sanford, formally of Barboursville, West Virginia, passed away to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 22, 2018.
Charline was born on May 9, 1934 in Barboursville, West Virginia to the late Lewis Howard Meadows and Dessie Ann Weatherholt Meadows. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael (Mike) P. Labus. Charline enjoyed her job as a wife and stay at home mother to her eight children.
She is survived by her eight children, Eric Labus and wife, Myra of West Virginia, Mary Labus of Kentucky, Lester Labus and wife, Benita of West Virginia, Bonnie Perry and husband, Mike of North Carolina, Priscilla Wright and husband, John of Tennessee, Alice Richardson and husband, Geoff of West Virginia, Eddy Labus and wife, Johnda of North Carolina and Clara Chapman and husband, Anthony of Kentucky; two brothers, John C. Meadows of West Virginia and Omer L. Meadows of New Mexico; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Mike and Bonnie Perry. The funeral service will be held at a later date in her hometown of Barboursville, West Virginia.
