Barbara Sue (Harrison) Kelly

Barbara Sue Harrison Kelly, age 70, of Sanford, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at First Health Hospice House in Pinehurst, NC.

She was born in Lee County on June 19, 1947 to the late Alonzo Harrison and Thelma Coley Harrison.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Kelly; two sisters, Joye Preston, Helen Thomas and by her three brothers, Earl, Terry and Darrell Harrison.  Barbara ran a successful cleaning service for many years.  Many of her clients became dear friends.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Ernest Jerry Kelly; two sons, Chris Kelly and wife, Cherie of Spring Lake, NC and Mark Kelly of Sanford, NC; two sisters, Shirley Phillips of Bear Creek, NC, Becky Ennis and husband, Steve of Carthage, NC; two grandchildren, Dakota Love and Chloe Bastounes, and many special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Cameron Baptist Church with Pastor Jared McNeill and Pastor Darryl Garner officiating.  Burial will follow in Cameron Community Cemetery.
