Archie Ray McNeill

Archie Ray McNeill, age 77, of Sanford, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 20, 2018.

Ray was born in Harnett County on March 30, 1941 to the late Archie Buie McNeill and Lee Oma Knight McNeill.  Ray was owner and operator of McNeill Paint.

He is survived by his wife, Janet D. McNeill; two sons, Jody McNeill and wife, Kimberly of Sanford and Marty McNeill and wife, Amanda of Sanford; one brother, Willis McNeill and wife, Faye of Sanford; a sister, Mary Wilson-Wittenstrom and husband, John of Pinehurst; two grandchildren, Emma and Alex McNeill and one step-grandchild, Jaxtin Smith.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the fellowship hall of Edgewood Presbyterian Church with the funeral service following at 4:00 PM with Dr. Bill Hayes and Jody McNeill officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
