Annie Rue Scott Willett, age 95, of Sanford, NC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at her home.

She was born in Surry County to the late Ernest Scott and Ora Moser Scott.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Willett.  She enjoyed being a homemaker.

Annie is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Fincher and her husband, Ronnie of Sanford, Virginia Pilson of Kinston, NC and Glenda Spivey of Sanford; three sisters, Auba Foushee, Johann Coley and Corrine Cockrell and husband, Alton all of Sanford.  She is also survived by three grandchildren, Scott Fincher, John Spivey and Eric Pilson and by six great-grandchildren, Trey Spivey, Dalton Spivey, Bailey Spivey, Emily Fincher, Cameron Fincher and Anna Pilson.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Grace Chapel Church with Pastor Joel Murr officiating.  Mrs. Betty Sue McNeill will present the eulogy.  The family will receive friends following the service.
