Mrs. Annette Gwyn Powers, age 61, of Sanford, N.C. died Friday, August 18, 2017, at her home.  Mrs. Powers was born on March 13, 1956, in Moore County, N.C.

Mrs. Powers was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Junior Powers and by her father, William Sherman Gwyn.  She is survived by her husband, Juan Jesus Esparza; her mother, Yvette Marquilly Whitmire of Sanford; a son, Jamey William Powers and wife, Camerina of Sanford, N.C.; two daughters, Jackie Annette Powers and husband, Mateo Avila of Sanford and Jennifer Yvette Powers and husband Luis Vazquez of Sanford; two brothers, Richard Joseph Gwyn and Murnice Felton Chandler both of Sanford, N.C.; sisters, Marie Bolick and husband Ronnie of Hickory, N.C. and Michele Chandler Baker and husband Ronnie Barber of Hamstead, N.C. and eight grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 21, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at Buffalo Cemetery with Jamey William Powers officiating.
