Ann (Williams) Stewart

Ann Williams Stewart, age 77, of Sanford, NC, died June 24, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Lee County, NC on August 2, 1940 to the late John A. Williams and Doris Burns Williams.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Jay Stewart and brother Fletcher Williams.  Ann was a long-time member of Zion Christian Church and a 1958 graduate of the Deep River High School.  She also graduated from Sanford Business College and worked 45 years for Harris & Company Insurance Agency.

She is survived by her husband, of 59 years, JD Stewart; daughter Sharon Stewart Bray and husband Phil of Sanford; brother John Williams of Sanford; grandchildren Heather Carroll and husband Chris, David Seagroves and great-grandchildren Kelsey and Landon.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral will be in the chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home Wednesday, June 27th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow at Lee Memory Gardens.
