Ann (Dew) Freeman

Ann Dew Freeman, age 71, of Sanford, NC, died Friday, October 4, 2019 at her home.

She was born in Harnett County, NC on April 13, 1948 to the late Warrick “Pete” Ellis Dew and Christine Gregory Dew.   In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by daughters Angela Gale Freeman, Patricia Ann Thomas and son Ray Ellis Freeman.  Mrs. Freeman was a loving mother and grandmother and had worked for GKN and Whiten Roberts.

She is survived by her son Charles Raymond Freeman; brother Charles William Dew and wife Libby, sister Ida Elizabeth Geywitz and husband Urkin of Sanford; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with the funeral service following at 2:00 PM at Life Springs-San Lee Chapel with Rev. Dale Sauls officiating.  Burial will follow at Lemon Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
