Alan Charles Obituary

Alan Mark Charles, 64, of Sanford, NC passed away Wednesday August 8, 2018 at his residence.

He was born March 20, 1954 in Trenton, New Jersey to the late Ruth and Syndney Charles.

Alan was born and raised in New Jersey and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State University. He worked for several years as a slot attendant at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City. Alan loved sports and was an avid baseball and football fan.

He is survived by his son, Joshua Charles; his former wife Nancy Charles; a sister Annette Mottis; a brother Joe Charles; and his five beloved cats.
