Mr. William Alvin Wilson, age 79, of Cameron, N.C. died Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at Westfield Nursing and Rehab Center in Sanford, N.C. 

Mr. Wilson was born on September 10, 1937 to the late William Edward Wilson and Alma Fox Wilson.  He was a retired machinist.

Surviving relatives include his wife Nellie Wilson and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017 from 1:30 to 2:15 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home with the funeral service following in the Chapel at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home at 2:30 PM with Rev. Dave Kenny presiding.   Burial will follow at Jonesboro Cemetery.
