Trilby Brown Batchelor, age 71, of Sanford, NC, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at her home.

She was born in Lee County on June 5, 1946 to the late Oris and Algie Spence Brown.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Doralene Knight and Gaynelle Hudson.

Trilby is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles Batchelor; son, Chad Lee Batchelor of Myrtle Beach, SC; granddaughter, Emilia Lee Batchelor of South Carolina; brother, Ross Brown and wife, Ida of Mamers, NC; sisters, Barbara Koepp of Broadway, NC and Katrina Tankersley and husband, James of Encinitas, Calf. and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Sloan of Sanford, NC.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Jonesboro Presbyterian Church on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Rev. John Taylor officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall and at other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jonesboro Presbyterian Church, 2200 Woodland Ave., Sanford, NC 27330.
