Travis Wayne Harward, age 36, passed away.

Travis was born in Lee County, on July 9, 1981, to Thomas Wayne Harward and Quinlan Faye Thompson Harward.  Preceding him in death was his paternal grandfather Calvin Harward; maternal grandparents, Lester and Myra Jean Thompson and an infant niece.  He was employed as a Landscaping Supervisor.  Travis graduated from Lee Senior High School in 1999.  He also graduated from Sandhills Community College in the Landscaping Program.

Surviving relatives include his parents, Tommy and Quinlan Harward of Sanford; his wife, Melisa Pope Harward of Carthage; daughters, Aubrey Harward of High Falls and Paitlyn Harward of Carthage; step daughter, Lily Cox of Carthage; sisters, Shannon Gillis and Chuck of Sanford and Maci Bullard and Johnathan of Sanford; paternal grandmother, Lottie Harward of Sanford; nieces and nephews, Chase Gillis, Olivia Gillis, Karli Bullard, and Barrett Bullard.

The family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, from 6-8PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral will be held Tuesday, Nov. 14^th, 2PM at New Covenant Fellowship Church, 1305 Hulsey Rd, Carthage, NC with Pastor Lee McKinney presiding.  Burial will follow in Lamm’s Grove Church Cemetery.
