Tina Marie Wood Smith, age 57, of Sanford, NC, died Monday, October 9, 2017 at her home.

She was born in Norfolk, VA on June 25, 1960 to the late Daniel Wood and Joyce Hendrex Lindburgh.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter Brittany Smith and a grandchild Kamryn Moore.  Tina was a homemaker who cherished her family.  She was a loving Christian lady who would give you the shirt off her back.

She is survived by her husband, of 33 years, Fred Dean Smith, Sr.; children Jessica Cooper and husband Travis of Cameron, Lisa Smith and fiancé Jonathan Erik Hudson of Sanford, Stephanie Daniele Pritt and husband Matthew of Broadway; step-daughter Kristin Moore and step-son Fred Dean Smith, Jr. “Billy” and wife Cindy all of South Carolina; and grandchildren Nathaniel and Kourtney Cooper, Lucas Thomas, Aubree Pritt, Tristan, Taylor, Kylee, Dalton, Tyler, Hayden Smith and Garrett and Dylan Moore.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home and her funeral service will be Friday, October 13th at 2:00 PM at Calvary Missionary Methodist Church with Pastor Curtis Norris officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
