Steven Christopher Maples, age 36, of Sanford, died Saturday, June 11, 2016 at his home.

He was born in Lee County on August 16, 1979 to Steven Earl Maples and Susan Baker Maples of Sanford.  Steven was an inspector at Dorman.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Brandy Michelle Maples; sons Dylan Christopher Watkins of West Virginia, Steven Bryson Maples, Daylon Gage Maples and step-son Jayden Christopher Maples all of Sanford; daughters Kailey Shae Maples and Madison Elizabeth Maples all of Sanford; brothers Randall Scott Woodham of Sanford, Johnnie Earl Maples of Parma, Idaho; and sister Kimberly Sue Nunnery of Sanford.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home at the funeral service will be Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home with Chaplain Joel Cameron officiating.  Burial will follow at Lee Memory Gardens.
