Robert N. Phillips, age 86, of Sanford, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2016, at his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents Horace and Bessie Phillips.  Mr. Phillips served his country in the US Coast Guard.  Mr. Phillips was an owner/operator of a Forklift Sales and Service Company.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Lewis Phillips of the home; two sons, Bobby Phillips and Greg Phillips both of New York; three daughters, Joyce Hammond and Roger of Iowa, Donna Dennis of Maryland and Candice Daoud and Samir of Sweden; a sister Margaret Gordon and Elvin of Deep River and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, 1 to 2PM at the fellowship hall at Gulf Presbyterian Church.  A graveside service will follow in the church cemetery at 2PM with Rev. Bruce Benton presiding.
