Philip Dewar Smith, age 90, of Silver Spring, Maryland formally of Harnett County died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Holy Cross Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Johnston Smith; two sisters and four brothers.

He is survived by daughters Jackie Smith of College Park, Maryland and Suzy Niedermair (John) of Silver Spring, Maryland and two grandchildren, John Niedermair and Christina Niedermair.

The Funeral will be on Friday, May 27, 2016, 11:00 AM at Barbecue Presbyterian Church with Rev. David Sherrod officiating.  Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service in the Fellowship Hall.
