God cares for those who have a broken heart; Psalm 34:18 assures us that he is close to them. Psalm 147:3 says: "He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7) jw.org

In an earlier post, I mentioned her church membership being at Jonesboro Presbyterian and I apologize for the error.

Mrs. Rosser was one Lee County's greatest educators. What amazed me was her love for every student. Her membership at Jonesboro Presbyterian has now been transferred to heaven where she will play the piano forever. It is good to know she considered her children and grandchildren as all favorites. The communities of Sanford and Lee County will certainly miss this dear lady. My deepest sympathy to all you and all you are in my prayers during this season and the seasons ahead.

I am 48 years old and I remember like it was yesterday. Mrs. Rosser would come to Broadway elementary and play piano and teach us the neatest songs. I have taught my kids many of them . Music day was my favorite and thanks to her I know the words to "Tie a yellow ribbon". I have never forgotten her. My prayers with the family as you say goodbye to such a special person.

Hi Jane,

You and I have had many sweet conversations about your mother while we exercised together on our elliptical machines at the gym. I am so happy that you and your sister made that late-night trip to Kohl's recently. This trip will be a special memory for both you and your sister for the rest of your lives. I remember how much you said your mother loved the apple pie and ice cream your sister bought for your mom that night.
Take care, Karen

A fine woman who always greeted you with genuine warmth and a broad and constant smile. A great influence on multiple generations in and around central North Carolina.
Her incredible legacy is carried forward by her children and grandchildren.
She will missed by all.
May she enjoy the company of those singing angels, whom she will direct for eternity.

I had Mrs. Rosser for Glee Club at Deep River. Loved her. I did not know I would be marrying into her family when she taught me. I married her husband's cousin, Zeb Harrington's son. I called her a few months ago. We pass her house going to Lowes. Sorry for your loss.
