Marvalee Douglas Gaddy, 78, of Cameron, NC, died Thursday, April 7, 2016, at her home.

Mrs. Gaddy was born on Oct. 21, 1937, in Harnett County, NC to the late Wade Douglas and Kizzie McAuley Douglas.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eddie “Coon” Gaddy.  She was a homemaker and worked in production in the making of water faucets.

Surviving relatives include her son, Wendell Gaddy (Pam) of Cameron; daughters Jeanne Fannin (Kevin) of Cameron and Patricia Hickman of Sanford; a brother Thomas Douglas of Sanford; four grandchildren, Stephen Lubeck, Tiffany Lubeck, Justin Hickman (Jessica) and Cassidy Hickman; two great grandchildren, Gabriel Hickman and Zeke Hickman.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 10, 2016, from 2PM until funeral hour at Mt. Pleasant Church.  The funeral will be held also at Mt. Pleasant Church 4PM with Rev. John Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in the Johnson Grove cemetery in Vass.
