Mrs. Lucy H. Jenkins, age 94, passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on October 13, 2016, and was welcomed by her father and mother,  Mr, James L. Hathcock and Eula Johnson Hathcock; her late husband, Rev. R.W. Jenkins; a son, Wally Jenkins and by a great-grandson, Jeremiah Wachter.

She is survived by a daughter, Ann Williams; daughter-in-law, Jackie Jenkins; grandson, Carr Glover (Lynn); granddaughters Teresa Wachter (Scott), Jessica Jenkins, Rebecah Roche (Kevin); great grandchildren, Justin Glover (Lindsy), Aliceann Tally (Kemper), and Landon Roche; a great-great-grandson, Cameron Glover and a sister, Betty Cannady.

Funeral service will be held at Moncure Baptist Church on Sunday, October 16, 2016, at 3:30 P.M. with Rev. Matt Garrett and Rev. John Howard officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service in the church fellowship hall.
