Lee Douglas Talbott, Jr., age 66, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 at his home in Merritt Island, Florida.

He was born in Lee County on January 10, 1951 to Lee Douglas Talbott, Sr. and the late H. Blanche Poindexter Talbott.  Doug was a 32-year volunteer of the Deep River Fire Department.   For many years, he enjoyed a career in construction.

Surviving relatives include his father, Lee D. Talbott, Sr of Merritt Island, FL; one sister, Caroline T. Sizemore of Merritt Island, FL; brother, John Talbott and wife, Beverly of Omaha, Nebraska; three aunts, Lena Calcutt of Merritt Island, FL, Barbara Talbott and Carolyn Talbott both of Sanford; one uncle, James “Bill” Calcutt of Merritt Island, FL; one nephew; four nieces; three great-nieces and four great-nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Zion Christian Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor Steve Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memory Gardens.
