Jeffrey Louis Venrick, age 55, of Cameron, N.C. died Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at his home.

Mr. Venrick was born on Sept. 18, 1960, in Lee County.  He worked as a manager for Hancock Sand Company and served his country in the US Army 82^nd Airborne Division.  Mr. Venrick was an Eagle Scout and held a black belt in karate.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Karl and Nora Venrick of Winter Haven, FL and Hal and Frances Hancock of Sanford.

He is survived by his parents Wallace Edwin Venrick of Center Hill, FL and Phyllis Hancock Venrick of Sanford; sons, Austin Jeffrey Venrick (Heather) of Hickory, Kyle Louis Venrick of Chapel Hill and Cody Wallace Venrick of the home; sisters Malissa Venrick Holder of Sanford and Rebecca Venrick Thompson (Lee) of Sanford; four nephews, Clint Holder, Dylan Holder, Henry Thompson and Stuart Thompson. 

The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 24, 2016, 2PM at St. Thomas Episcopal Church with Rector Melanie Mudge officiating.  Burial will follow in the Rocky Fork Church Cemetery with Rev. Vanya Mullinax presiding at the graveside.  The visitation will follow the interment in the Rocky Fork Fellowship Hall.
