Mr. James Burnley Vest, age 57, of Sanford, N.C., died Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Southeastern Medical Center in Lumberton, N.C.

Mr. Vest was born on April 23, 1960, in Washington, D.C. to Steuart Vest and Eleanor Millard Vest of Vienna, Virginia. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Vest is survived by his wife, Nancy Heiser Vest; two daughters, Katie Bridges and husband Alex and Lara Vest both of Sanford, N.C.; a brother, Andrew Vest of McLean, Va.; two nieces, Amanda Vest and Cameron Vest; and a sister-in-law, JoyceAnn Heiser of Pittsboro, N.C.

The family will receive friends, Monday, June 12, 2017, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at Hunt Springs Baptist Church in Sanford, N.C. with Pastor Thadd McElreath officiating.
