James Neal Hudson, age 59, of Sanford, NC passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016, at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst. 

Mr. Hudson was born in Randolph County, on Jan. 16, 1957, to James Maxton Hudson and Edna Poole Hudson.  He worked as a die cast operator for a carburetor manufacturing company.

He is survived by his wife of Demel Collier Hudson of the home; a daughter Tiffany Gaster (Cole) of Sanford; grandmother, Mabel Somers and husband Milton of Sanford; mother in law Judy Collier of Sanford; brothers, Eric Hudson (Joy) of Winston-Salem and Ken Hudson of Ramseur; sisters, Joy Hudson of Greensboro; one grandchild, Porter Gaster; and two very close friends, Dwight Hooker and Maggie of Asheboro and Rev. Billy Buie and Jeanette of Sanford.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 at Pocket Presbyterian Church from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.  A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. David Dudley and Rev. Billy Buie presiding.
