James Olan Farrell, age 58, of Pittsboro, NC, died Thursday, September 15, 2016 at UNC Hospitals.

He was born in Siler City, NC on November 7, 1957, to Jane Farrell Mason of Pittsboro.  In addition to his mother James is survived by his wife, Barbara Leonard of the home; son, Ryan Olan Farrell and wife Becky Dyer Farrell of Fuquay-Varina; sister, Nikki Plummer and husband Shannon of Pittsboro; granddaughter, Annabelle Ferrell; two nephews, Alex and Noah Plummer of Pittsboro and fur-baby Iggy of the home.

Memorial service will be Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 4:00 pm at New Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Gambos officiating.  The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
