Harry Eddison Freeman, age 67, of Sanford, NC, died Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Central Carolina Hospital.

He was born in Wake County, NC on November 22, 1949 to the late Fredrick Donaldson Freeman and Della Elbertine Smith Freeman.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Durwood Robert Poindexter.  Harry retired, after a 32 year career, from Lee Brick & Tile as a Kiln Fireman.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Mary Collins Freeman; son Harry Freeman II and wife Cheri of Sanford; daughters Marsha Ann Freeman Epps and husband Lance of Pittsboro, Melissa Kelly and husband B.J. of Sanford; brothers Donnie Freeman of California, Freddie Freeman of Sanford, Robbie Freeman of Broadway; sisters Annabell Holt of Fuquay-Varina, Becky Smith and husband Ricky of Broadway, Elizabeth “Liz” Parten and husband Gerald of Johnsonville; grandchildren Hunter Freeman, Harry Freeman III, Cameron Freeman, Mandy Frady, Stephanie Wrenn, Lyndsi Godfrey, Tiffany Villatoro and Cody Godwin; and 8 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home and the funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel with Chaplain Joel Cameron officiating.  Burial will follow at Wayside Presbyterian Church.
