Geraldine “Jerri” Self Craig-Thomas, age 82, of Sanford, NC, died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Westfield Rehabilitation & Health Center.

She was born in Richmond County, NC January 17, 1935 to the late Talmadge Self and Mary Williams Self.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, a brother and daughter Gail Larson.

Jerri was a teacher’s assistant for Lee County Industries and was a faithful member of Grace Chapel Church.  She loved her church, her Sunday School Class – The Annie Belle Register Sunday School Class, but most importantly her Lord.  She was a devoted Christian Lady.

She is survived by her son Brian Holder and wife Shelley of Wilson; daughter Pamela Garner and husband Philip of Carthage; and three grandchildren Raymond Garner and wife Renee, John Holder and wife Katie and Emily Holder

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Grace Chapel Church with Dr. Royce Baker officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the front of the sanctuary.
